Original SCE Pro Copper 3" 3 Bolt Re-Usable Collector Flange Gaskets made in the USA (see also p/n 4250, 4350). Gasket Thickness: .043" Material: Embossed Copper. Copper collector gaskets are re-usable many times, a thick (3/8) flange is preferred but even with a 1/4 inch flange you can permanently seal collectors by doubling or combining these gaskets with our graphite collector gaskets (p/n 512042). SCE introduced the first embossed copper exhaust gaskets in 1995, and they are still the best way to seal a warped or uneven exhaust manifold or header sealing surface. For proper sealing the embossment (raised seal) should match the opening of the header, the head port is of secondary concern since it is most often smaller than the header opening. Please see the illustration above.
