The engine for this 1970 AMX is a 1970 AMC 390. Previously, this combination competed in NHRA Stock Eliminator where it set the E/S National Record and was #1 qualifier & final round contestant @ the 2005 CSK Nationals. The AMX competes in NHRA Superstock/H class & won Best Appearing at 2006 NHRA Pacific Sports Nationals. The engine was built and assembled by Bud Yancer Racing Engines, a division of MACH Development using all SCE products available. Just as important as pistons and rings, sealing combustion pressures is the responsibility of the ICS Titan and intake ports are sealed using the Accu Seal Pro.
