SCE Gaskets in the Pebble Beach Concours

From the Ed Pink Racing Engines Facebook Page 8/29/13:

Ed Pink Racing Engines enjoys more success at the 2013 Monterey Motorsports Reunion and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

EPRE provided the power plants for seven entries at the Motorsports Reunion. These engines varied from a 1916 National engine installed in an Indy Car, some Chevy V-8s to Turbo and normally aspirated Porsches and many unique engines in between. Two of the cars were class winners.

EPRE also provided the engines for two entries at the Pebble Beach Concours.

One was a very special “one owner” first production model 1921 Duesenberg. The Bender body Duesenberg is Number 1 and is still owed by the family of the original owner. The Castle family had the car beautifully and accurately restored by Canepa Design. The Duesie was awarded 2nd in class and the most significant car at the event..

SCE Gaskets is proud to have designed, re-tooled & supplied  the very unique copper clad head gasket for this supercharged straight 8 Duesenberg engine.
